Discovery of a clandestine grave in Palmar de Bravo

A clandestine grave has recently been discovered in the municipality of Palmar de Bravo, not by the groups of searching mothers, but by elements of the Mexican Army, according to the head of the Secretary of Governance (Segob) in Puebla. During the reenactment of the Battle of Puebla, the official revealed that it was a military base stationed in the area that notified about the presence of the grave in the early morning of May 6. The case is being investigated by the State Attorney General's Office (FGE).

The official did not provide further details about the finding, indicating that so far only human remains from one person have been found at the site called Rancho Trinidad, and that efforts continue in the search for more missing persons in the region. "They did not locate it. So far, only one body has been seen, but I cannot and do not want to speak of more out of respect for the protocol of the Attorney General's Office and the authorities," he pointed out.

In response to the request by Governor Alejandro Armenta to meet with the groups of searching mothers, the head of Segob expressed his willingness, clarifying that the meeting will be with all parties involved and not selectively. It was emphasized that there is a permanent military base in the area that reported the discovery of the grave from the early hours of the morning.
